Aging

Getting old is a bitch!!! In my mind I feel 25, in reality I’m 58. What happened? Where did the years go? Now I get up 2 to 3 times a night to go to the bathroom. I have hair in locations on my person I never had before. My body hurts when I wake up in the morning, and I haven’t done anything!!! What the f—-k is going on??!!?? I look at a pretty young woman now and wonder what her mother looks like. This is just not fair. A great evening is a good meal and television or book. My gawd, what have I done to deserve this. My fingers ache, my back aches, my feet hurt and I can’t see anything. I used to have 20/20 vision, now I can’t read a menu without glasses. And they’re bifocals…Jeeeeeezus….
But there is good news to this aging process…. I now have four of the best grandkids in the world. Emma, Nick, Will and Hudson are the loves of my life, and there’s another on the way this summer. Like the bumper sticker says, “if I knew grandkids would be so great, I would have had them first”…

OBAMA

I can’t imagine the joy African Americans felt yesterday when Barrack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. I know that I was very emotional sitting and watching the proceedings. Seeing and feeling his humility, listening to the passion in his voice during his first speech as CEO of the most powerful nation in the world. It’s the hope on an entire population that he stands by his word, and for the first time in recent memory, or at least back to the JFK/Camelot era, there is a sense of hope in the air. America has to re-establish itself as the moral leader of the free world. Get back to diplomacy and aid to the less fortunate, and not ask anything in return. We all know they are the most powerful military force in the world, but might is not always right. Let’s hope Obama can lead them in the right direction. Ultimately it will be a safer world for them, and us as well.

Sexual Healing

First it was the banks, then insurance companies, followed by the auto makers and now the porn industry is looking for a bailout. Maybe they’re looking for a little protection to prevent anything untoward happening in the future. An injection from the feds would certainly be uplifting for the industry, and would almost present itself as a bit of foreplay before the economy bounces back for a second third and fourth go round. Protection is the key when it comes to the porn industry, after all it is the gift that keeps on giving. Watching the industry fail would be hard to swallow and a good stiff injection is may be what it needs to maintain its forward thrust. Maybe the feds should take a long hard look at the porn industry you’d hate to see anyone or anything gag on a lack of performance now wouldn’t you.
