It’s been a While!!!

Yes it has been a while since my last post. It’s been a busy few months… Weddings, new grand kids, you name it, it’s happened. To be honest I haven’t been terribly inspired to write much of anything lately. Now that hockey season is upon us, and our summer lasted a total of the month of September, I guess I should rediscover my mojo. Whatever the hell that is!!!!
Leaf blowers are planning the parade route for the Stanley Cup Victory dance in the spring. The team is better, but it will be a while before they get there, if at all. Playoffs are the first priority and that is a long shot. The Argos, Jays, Varsity Blues and York Yoemen all suck…. Welcome to the city of chumps once again. There must be something in the water that makes every sporting team in Southern Ontario so bad. I think the majority of politicians are also from this part of the world, I haven’t met one yet who is sincere in their goal of “serving the common good”.
David Miller is not going to run for re-election as Toronto mayor. Maybe we can get someone who wants to fix a few roads around town. Come to think of it, we should leave them as they are. It will mean more money for the local economy. At least when it comes to car repairs.
I find it interesting to hear all the complaints about Barack Obama by the right wingers south of the border. After all, the banks are re-paying their loans to the government. The big three auto makers are finally making some decent product, employment rates are dropping and house prices have risen three months in a row. The guy really is doing a terrible job isn’t he. Gimme a break. Now if Chicago happens to win the 2016 Summer Olympics, the world will really come tumbling down.
